Canaima,
se encuentra localizada en el Estado Bolívar, y es
el más largo y Famoso Parque en Sur América y
Venezuela, y además es el 6to Parque mas grande en
el Mundo, con alrededor de 3.000.000 de hectáreas.
Esta
área también es llamada "GRAN SABANA".
Este
es el territorio de los Indios Pemones, con un
inmenso paisaje dominado por Míticas Montañas "tepuyes"
las cuales fueron originadas en un muy lejano pasado
Geológico cuando África y América formaban un sólo
continente. Esta es la "Gran Sabana" y
conforma un alto plató entre Venezuela y Brasil en
las cabeceras del Río Caro

Ubicación:
SurOeste del Río Orinoco, en el Estado Bolívar,
Venezuela, Una de las 9 Regiones Geológicamente más
antiguas del Mundo. Esta Región es única por su
vasto territorio, Impenetrables selvas vírgenes, la
abundancia y volumen de sus ríos, sus espectaculares
caídas de agua y cataratas, la diversidad y
abundancia de sus especies animales y vegetales;
además de Lugares de baño, paisajes, comunidades
indígenas, cuevas, y muchísimos Tepuyes gigantescos,
tales como "Roraima" de 2.860 mts, "Kukenan", con la
segunda caída de agua más alta del mundo. El Salto
Angel ("Churún Merú"), que es la Más alta caída de
Agua del Mundo con 1.000 mts de altura y localizado
en el "Auyan-Tepuy"..
Clima:
el rango de temperatura promedio es de 15° a 19°C,
dependiendo de la altura.
La
época de lluvias es desde Mayo a Noviembre, con una
alta precipitación anual de aproximadamente 1.500
mm.

7,140,000 acres
This area is so called as
the "GRAN SABANA".
This is the territory
of the Pemon Indians, an immense landscape dominated
by mythical "tepuyes" mountains which originate from
a far back geological past when Africa and America
formed just one continent. This is the "Gran
Sabana" and forms a high plateau between
Venezuela and Brazil at the head of the Caroni River.
This is an area which
possesses countless streams and waterfalls which
have worldwide fame. Our tour travels through the
"Gran Sabana" by jeep including visits to its
principal attractions.

Location: Southwest of
the Orinoco river, in Bolívar state, Venezuela, one
of the nine most ancient geological regions on the
world. This region is made unique by its vast,
impenetrable virgin jungles, the abundance and
volume of its rivers, its spectacular falls and
cataracts, the diversity and abundance of its animal
and vegetal species; moreover of pools, bathing-sites,
lookouts, indigenous communities, caves, grotto and
several of the main tepuyes, such as Roraima 2860 m,
Kukenan, second highest waterfall in the world. The
Angel Fall (Salto Angel - Churún Merú), highest
waterfall in the world with 1.000 m high located in
the "Auyan-Tepuy".
Climate: Average
temperature range from 50° to 66°F, depending on the
altitude.
The rainy season is
from May to November, with an annual high
precipitation of 1.500 mm.
